Diamond White Mk4 Fiesta
To get you up to speed i'll copy the main bits from my thrad on FOC
Hello, following on from my newbie post, new to this fourm, drive a standard Mk4 Fez had it 3 years, bought it with 48k on the clock for £650! Now has 70k and probably worth 200 quid but priceless to me would like little modifications but nagging 'rents and money constraints apply. Picture below of my baby, shes a 1.3 EnduraE so crossflow power all the way lol.
She is standard atm, i have got a little list of what i would like to do to her:
CC door handles, mirrors
Gloss Back roof rails and rub strips,
Gloss Black bumpers,
Zetec S side skirts,
Megane/Laguna front splitter,
Gloss black roof,
'Tow' strap in bottom grill,
RS7 Softline reps
Lower (Only a little bit 40mm)
Remove rear wiper
Zetec s interior
Different Exhaust
Induction kit
FlyEye the lights.
This is going to be a very slow project! Tho i will be going to FITP car will probs be on the FordGuides stand so be good to see some of you.
This is what she looks like:
When i first got her the sills where shot, i paid 300 quid to get the sills done(by my neighbor) who has a garage) and this is the welding i get! (it was Xmas so i painted like that to stop more rust)
She does polish up well tho!
This summer!
Now
Rolling capless, cos im cooooll, Lol nah just had the wheels off and cleaned the breaks etc
Crossflow for the win, yes it is tappety
Work to come
Needs a full undercoat/waxoiling before the snow and salt gets on the road
CV Boots replacing
New front tyres (Trackings well out, lasted 6 months!)
Well thats it for now.
C&C's welcome
Robbo

More recently!
Thats how she stood for a while then i decided it was time for some changes!
However that same day the heater stoped working
Set about some maintenance on the underside
Right so i went to the scrap yard and had a rummage, there was only one Mk 4 with everything on it so i set about removing the interior bits etc, broke the clips on the passenger air vent so i robbed a Mk5 that had been painted purple lol.
x2 Air vent surrounds, x2 Door handle surrounds, x2 Door handles and a replacement internal door pull as mine is broken and gets stuck! £10
And done this
Fitted
Still need to fit door handles and do mirrors and the other trim pieces.
Thats pretty much the major changes to the car. Enjoy the pics, i’m now off to roam the site and check out your threads C&C Welcome

Fitted a new internal door handle and exterior door handles!
Although really ive got to have the door cards off again and the window runner is usually tigar sealed to the door i didnt seal it down and its rattly as ****!!
Then one week later i decided to do this! Mirrors and roof strips
Now thats got everyone very quickly up to speed Rest will come in time and will update in greater detail!

Re: Diamond White Mk4 Fiesta
Well i didnt fit my FOC stickers as theres weird stuff going on with my FG ones.. I think the slow and ice has frozen the glue and there slowy peeling off, got the hot air gun and patted them down again tho
Anyways.. A new update, i smoothed my arse today!
So i started with taking some stickers off! Before, during & after
Then the stickers on the tailgate
Although removing stickers showed the car has a not so inocent history as i hoped.. The 'T' pulled off some paint revealing some filler behind it, explains the random rust spot and the orange peel paint finish!
Oh well then i went from this, to this.. Forgot to get a cleaned picture of it at that stage. took f*ucking ages
Then i done this!
Althought i put my bung in which proved to be wrong....
So a bit of improvising later i had a fix... Its called TrimShield (Perks of a windscreen fitter dad!)
What a mess... Excuse the crisps been in there since July :S
Finished!
After all that as some of you may know im very anal about my windows being clean so i used my new AG Fast Glass, real nice reflecting

Re: Diamond White Mk4 Fiesta
Fez now has 3.1 litres of lovely runny clean gearbox oil!!! Done a 40 mile round trip and it seems fine! Not as smooth as i hoped, as in its notchy still so just the way with that box, anyways thanks for your help.
Right time for pics!
As i recently discovered this car has no gear drain bung i decided to jack it up to get better access to remove my RLS and removed
Then jacked the other side up to get more out (as the hole for the RLS is higher up then the bottom of the box
Then replaced by RLS and removed my filler bung. then slammed the bitch and filled up with EP75w90 Semi Synthetic which was actually thinner then the engine oil i filled in it a last week :O Anyways no more pictures as i have a nice phone and didnt want it covered oil..
Tho i did find my old college overalls and wore them surprised they fitted haven't worn them in 18months

Re: Diamond White Mk4 Fiesta
Might seem weird as im under a different name but this is my thread SykoRobbo7 & SHMotorsport is the same person. Just to let you know
Well its been ages since i updated this thread! Not a lot has changed really, im making and selling my own bonnet raisers now, ive smoked my headlights & fitted a Megane splitter!!
Now to bring it all up to date i gave the fez a detail today! No where near up to TDD standards but not made for my small AutoGlym selection
So the start! *Warning, Pic heavy*
The start. Was last fully detailed Mid-November, has been regularly cleaned but has finally stopped beading.
Main filth
Hosed off, wing still beading
After i dried the car i crack out the weapons of choice
Then applied the polish to the hole car and allowed to haze
Buffed
After that came trim treatment!
Then glass
Finally tyre dresser
Then i done this
Due tho this scratch, the door lock and handle cover isnt glued done its catching on the window
Final Pictures

Re: Diamond White Mk4 Fiesta
Right about time i had an update!! PIC HEAVY!!
So thanks to James for originally buying and holding for probably 3 months?? I have some de-tango
Before
After
Not the best fitting things and i fitted these at the track with James, had to use a ton of tape so they fitted and i broke one so we glued it back together! Seller was a bit of a joker and he sent bulbs supplied but one was smoked orange bulb and one white.... So need to change that pretty soon -_-
So then the acutul update is some carbon wrap (again thanks to James )
My phone
Then my sisters phone
Then the Fez!
Gear surround
Window winders
Radio
A-Pillars
Was gonna wrap this but i cant get the switches out...
Fitted
C&C welcome!
