Fiesta mk2 engine swap

I got fiesta mk 2 and I want to put a bigger engine in is their any other engine that'll fit beside the xr2 and without cutting it about

1.8 and 2.0 zetec matty, not hard conversion atall, bit more wiring to do, but you use alot of xr2 bits Smile

if the front end is coming off surly you can fit anything in there and build round it

I no the front is off Jc but i dnt really fancy cutting her more about all I gotta do is front and wing panels and its all together again x

comes out a 2l mondeo fella Smile google 2 l zetec blacktop on ebay, there like 200 quid

i got someone who will do it, with bike carbs all parts and labour and set up on a rolling road for a grand

Well I would cut it about but I personally don't think I'd b able to do it myself but if anyone would help I'd go for it but would it have to go threw any tests ? x

a specced up xr2 engine is about 140 bhp, you'd **** bricks in a mk2 fezzy with that power, a 2l zetec is 120 standard, on bike carbs and set up right your looking at atleast 140 again, so trust me matty you dont need more :L

I would try get a old fast ford and just put all from that in yours buddy. or fail that make like a custom car with a different front end?

just buy a fucked xr2 for cheap and a 2l zetec, stick it in, completely standard will be a pain, bike carbs would be easiest, 600cc sportsbike carbs and youll be lauging at anything that tries to chase you almost

imo you have 2 ways of doing this, buy a bad xr and swap bits to yours. OR use yours to fix the xr.
if I was you ide shop about and work out the best route to take.

matts was fairly sold when he got it, so buy a fucked xr two, leave yours standard looking drop it on some gold minilites and have a sleeper dude. would be mad looking. id rep it
